Open-eNDED REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH CENTERS

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is maintaining an open‑ended solicitation for qualified providers to operate and manage School‑Based Health Centers (SBHCs) across NYC schools. The RFP is posted on the HHS Accelerator system and is available only to organizations pre‑qualified in the relevant service areas; proposals are accepted on an ongoing basis. The contract will support delivery of comprehensive primary health and mental health services to students in high‑risk neighborhoods, aiming to reduce absenteeism, emergency‑room visits, and parental work loss. • Provide on‑site primary medical, dental, and mental‑health services to K‑12 students in designated NYC schools. • Manage staffing, clinical protocols, health records, and coordination with school administration and NYC public health agencies. • Deliver preventive care, chronic‑disease management, health education, and referral services on a continuous, open‑ended schedule.
