OPEN-ENDED - SCHOOL BASED HEALTH CENTER SERVICES (SBHC) RFP

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking qualified providers to deliver comprehensive primary health care services through School‑Based Health Centers (SBHC) on an open‑ended basis. Providers will staff and operate health centers located within NYC public schools, offering preventive, primary, and mental health services to students in high‑risk neighborhoods. The solicitation is posted in PASSPort and will remain open until the city’s needs are satisfied, with proposals evaluated continuously. Interested firms must have an approved HHS Accelerator Pre‑Qualification List (PQL) status in PASSPort to submit. • Provide on‑site primary medical, dental, and mental‑health services to K‑12 students. • Staff each center with qualified clinicians (physicians, nurse practitioners, mental‑health counselors). • Manage health records, compliance with NYS Department of Health licensing, and reporting requirements. • Coordinate with school administrators and community partners to ensure access and continuity of care. • Operate under a contract that may be renewed or expanded based on performance and city demand.
