This solicitation seeks pre‑qualification of contractors for the relay of water mains along Almond Street (Ash St → Pratt St) and associated utility work in North‑East Philadelphia. Successful pre‑qualified firms will be invited to a later closed‑bid solicitation for a multi‑million‑dollar water‑distribution project. The scope includes excavation, installation of ductile‑iron pipe of various diameters, valve and hydrant work, copper service connections, road restoration, traffic control, ADA‑ramp construction, mechanical street‑sweeping allowance, and extensive corrosion‑control (cathodic protection) design.
