Polygraph Services

The County of Fresno is seeking qualified polygraph examination vendors to conduct pre-employment examinations for the Probation Department. The selected vendors will be included in a master agreement and will provide services on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes conducting pre-employment polygraph exams, handling up to 25 exams a week, and supporting this level of service approximately ten to eleven times per year. The vendor must have sufficient qualified examiners to staff scheduled examination days and respond to occasional urgent requests. The contract term is three years with two potential one-year extensions. • The maximum total fee per polygraph exam is $240.00 for Years One through Three, $245.00 for Year Four, and $250.00 for Year Five. • The vendor must maintain various insurance policies, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers compensation, and professional liability. • The vendor must comply with the established ethics, standards, and practices of the American Polygraph Association (APA) or the California Association of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE) or the National Polygraph Association (NPA). • The vendor must provide a list of current staff, including job classification, and list current contracts for similar services. • The vendor must provide proof of membership in at least one of the polygraph associations listed above.
