MIDTOWN PARKING DECK STAIRWELL REPAIRS AND COATING

The City of Lynchburg is seeking bids for the repair and coating of the Midtown Parking Deck stairwells. The project includes repairs to three stairwells, one of which contains an elevator. The scope of work includes steel railing repairs, concrete repairs, structural steel repairs, recoating and painting of walls, recoating of floors, and repair or replacement of stair treads as needed. The parking deck areas will remain open to the public during construction, and the elevator must maintain 24/7 access throughout the project. • The contractor will be required to coordinate with Public Works for stairwell access. • The contractor will be required to complete the work within 90 days. • The contractor will be required to provide a performance bond and a payment bond. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
