Description
The City of Raleigh is seeking bids for the construction of the Pullen Park - Lake Howell Shoreline Wall Replacement project. The project consists of improvements to the shoreline retaining walls at Lake Howell in Pullen Park, including removal and replacement of most sections of the existing concrete retaining wall, installation of new modular concrete wall systems and cast-in-place concrete walls, and removal and replacement of adjacent concrete walkways. The bid includes two options for the metal railing system. Bidders must be licensed to perform the work in North Carolina and provide evidence of this license. The City of Raleigh encourages participation from certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) businesses. Key aspects of the project include:
