Description
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals for paratransit services, including a fully staffed call center. The selected contractor will provide door-to-door paratransit services throughout Palm Beach County, as well as reservations, scheduling, and dispatch functions. The contract will have a three-month mobilization period, followed by a five-year term with two one-year extensions. Proposers are encouraged to submit innovative solutions to reduce costs and improve services.
• The types of trips provided by the paratransit service include Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit trips, Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) paratransit trips, Division of Senior Services (DOSS) trips, Go Glades Services, and Connection Plus services.
• The proposer shall comply with all laws, ordinances, and regulations applicable to the services contemplated herein.
• The contract will be managed by Palm Tran, the public transit department of the County.
• The County reserves the right to alter the activities and times at its sole discretion.
