1500 Fashion Island Boulevard - First Floor Remodel

The County of San Mateo is seeking a qualified contractor to remodel the first floor of the 1500 Fashion Island Boulevard building. The project includes providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to complete the work, as well as adhering to County building and security requirements. The contractor will be required to attend weekly construction project meetings and track meeting action items. The project is expected to be completed within 146 calendar days. Key considerations for the contractor include compliance with prevailing wage rates, registration with the Department of Industrial Relations, and maintenance of required insurance coverage. • The contractor must have a minimum of five years of continuous experience as a prime contractor on projects of comparable quality, size, complexity, and type. • The contractor must have completed at least three projects of comparable quality, size, complexity, and type. • The contractor must submit evidence of compliance with the above qualifications and a list of all project work performed within the previous three years. • The contractor must comply with the County's Procurement Preference for Local Businesses Ordinance. • The contractor must comply with the County's Non-Discrimination Ordinance and provide equal employment opportunities.
