Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole‑source contract to Cadwell for a complete Cadwell Easy III polysomnography (PSG) system (including amplifiers, cameras, workstations, scoring software, HL7 interfaces, installation, and training) to replace the discontinued system at the Fort Harrison VA Sleep Lab. The contract is justified because Cadwell is the only vendor that meets VA‑defined technical, security, and interoperability requirements and is the exclusive service provider for its products. The award will be made without competition, with a performance period of one year.
• Quantity: 4 complete PSG systems (EA)
• Required features: proprietary amplifier design, deterministic DSCP traffic, HL7 V2.x MLLP messaging to VA Compass Router, full security hardening, and compatibility with existing VISN infrastructure
• Scope includes delivery, installation, training, and ongoing maintenance/support from Cadwell
