Description
The City of Atlanta is seeking qualified and reliable vendors to provide timely, high-quality glass repair and installation services for City vehicles and equipment. The services must comply with all applicable manufacturers, industry, environmental, and safety standards in effect at the time of service delivery. The contract will be for the provision of glass repair, replacement, installation, fabrication, and tinting services for City vehicles, machinery, heavy equipment, off-road equipment, and specialty municipal and emergency response assets. The City expects the selected vendor to provide OEM-compliant service, VIN-based part validation, and strict turnaround times for both standard and emergency repairs.
• The contract applies to automotive vehicles, machinery, heavy equipment, off-road equipment, specialty fleet assets, and emergency response equipment.
• Vendors are responsible for providing the following services: repair and replacement of automotive and equipment glass, installation of acrylic, Lexan, and polycarbonate materials, window and windshield tinting services, tint replacement, repair, and warranty services, emergency repair services, mobile/on-site repair capabilities, documentation of labor, parts, warranties, leak testing, and approvals for City verification, and certified technicians to perform all services.
• The City reserves the right to monitor vendor performance and utilize alternate sourcing if vendors repeatedly fail to meet contractual timelines.
• The contract will have a minimum one-year warranty requirement, and vendors must acknowledge warranty claims within 24 hours.
