Description
The City of Alma is seeking qualifications and proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide pre- and post-award engineering services for public infrastructure improvements and related community development projects. Services may include preliminary engineering reports, planning and design, cost estimating, bidding assistance, construction oversight, quality control, and project closeout. The City anticipates pursuing federal and/or state funding for community development, infrastructure, and related needs.
• The selected firm will be required to provide engineering services for current and future community and economic development projects funded through state and/or federal programs.
• The firm will be expected to have experience with similar projects and knowledge of the City of Alma and surrounding region.
• The firm will be required to meet deadlines for deliverables and have the ability to secure CDBG or other funding.
• The firm will be expected to provide a detailed cost estimate for engineering services from initiation through close-out.
