Description
The Liberty Public School District 53 is seeking a qualified vendor to provide on‑site, as‑needed repair services for its extensive inventory of commercial kitchen equipment across 18 cafeteria locations and additional district facilities. The contractor must be capable of servicing a wide variety of brands, respond quickly to service requests, and adhere to manufacturer‑recommended procedures. The contract is a one‑year firm‑price agreement with the option to renew up to four additional one‑year terms, and pricing must remain fixed for the initial 12‑month period.
• Scope covers all commercial kitchen appliances (ranges, ovens, dishwashers, refrigeration units, mixers, disposals, etc.) at 28 district sites.
• Vendor must provide trip charges, labor rates (regular & off‑hours), parts markup, and any surcharge structures on the bid form.
• Performance expectations include rapid response times (same‑day or within 24 hours for most repairs) and optional 24/7 availability.
• No pre‑bid meeting; site visits are optional and must be coordinated with the district’s kitchen technician.
• Contract value is not capped; payment terms are net 45 days by check.
