U.S. Embassy Iraq LES Global Medical Coverage (GMC) Health Insurance Services

The U.S. Department of State is seeking a qualified contractor to provide health insurance coverage for its locally employed staff in Iraq. The contract will have a base period of one year, with four one-year options to renew. The contractor will be required to provide a range of health insurance services, including hospitalization, emergency services, outpatient services, and prescription drugs. The contractor must also provide a brochure that sets forth the health insurance benefits to be provided under the contract. The government is looking for a contractor that can provide high-quality health insurance services to its employees in Iraq. • The contractor must be licensed/certified/accredited or otherwise authorized by the government of Iraq or its agent to provide health insurance coverage to persons within the host country. • The contractor must demonstrate its capacity to provide health benefits in Iraq to meet the minimum requirements and other conditions set forth in the solicitation. • The contractor must provide a fixed price for the coverage identified in the solicitation. • The contractor must submit a proposal that meets all the requirements set forth in the solicitation.
