Description
The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) is seeking a contractor to provide biosolids pumping services. The contractor will be required to remove wet and dry solids from the Wastewater Treatment Plant and clean and pump oil/water separators, grease traps, sand traps, cesspools, and septic/holding tanks located at the USAFA and Farish Recreation area near Woodland Park, CO. The contractor must provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform the services. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a base year and four one-year option periods.
* The contractor must have experience in biosolids pumping and handling
* The contractor must have the necessary equipment and vehicles to perform the services
* The contractor must be able to provide a detailed plan for servicing each type of equipment
* The contractor must be able to provide a plan for testing for hazardous materials and clearing obstructions
* The contractor must be able to provide a plan for backup capability in case of primary equipment failure
