Request for Qualifications for Engineering Services for Water Improvements Project

The Town of Braxton is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for a water improvements project related to Mississippi Appropriations. The selected engineer will be responsible for assisting with project development, preparing preliminary cost estimates, plans, and specifications, distributing bid documents, and performing construction inspection. The scope of work includes preparing bid tabulation, assisting in the execution of construction contracts, holding pre-construction conferences, and approving payment requests. The contract will be on a fixed price basis and will include scope and extent of work. The key aspects of the job include: • Preparing preliminary cost estimates, plans, and specifications • Distributing bid documents and assisting in bid opening • Assisting in the execution of construction contracts • Holding pre-construction conferences • Performing construction inspection and approving payment requests • Providing all engineering services through project closeout in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies
