Description
The Onslow Water & Sewer Authority is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of the existing 8” diameter reduced-pressure zone with pressure relief valve, gate valves, pressure reducing valves, automatic control valve, and associated plumbing at the Dixon Water Treatment Plant. The project includes the installation of new valves, piping, and plumbing, as well as the testing and start-up of the new system. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the project. The bid must be submitted on the Bid Pricing Form provided, and the contractor must meet the requirements outlined in the Scope of Work and the ONWASA Standard Contract Language.
• The project requires the contractor to have experience with similar contracts and to provide a list of equipment and certified workers.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and maintain the necessary insurance coverage.
• The project includes a mandatory site visit and a pre-bid meeting.
• The contractor must submit a bid that includes all costs, including labor, materials, and permits.
• The bid must be signed by an officer or officers authorized to execute legal documents on behalf of the contractor.
