Southwestern Community College Founders Hall Elevator

The Southwestern Community College is seeking proposals for the replacement and installation of a fully operational elevator system in the Founders Hall building. The elevator system must meet safety, accessibility, and performance requirements, and allow for flexibility in technology, design, and delivery. The project includes a site survey, design proposal, installation, and commissioning of the elevator system. The vendor must provide a project schedule, progress reports, and training for building maintenance personnel. The contract will be awarded to the vendor that meets the requirements and provides the best value to the State. • The elevator system must be reliable and capable of handling a moderate to high volume of daily usage. • The system must meet or exceed the listed specifications, including type, capacity, travel, travel height, speed, doors, control system, safety, and finishes. • The vendor must provide a technical approach, including a description of each task and deliverable, and a schedule for accomplishing each. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. • The contract includes provisions for contract administration, customer service, continuous improvement, acceptance of work, invoices, and dispute resolution.
