Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order for a new calibrated Labmaster Universal 175 two-point contact instrument with radial clearance measurement capability. The instrument will be used for dimensional and radial clearance measurements of precision ball bearings. The contractor shall provide all hardware and software required to conduct these measurements, including the Labmaster Universal Model 175, various probes, and other equipment. The contractor shall also provide onsite training for 3 personnel on the Labmaster hardware and software. The delivery requirements include shipping all components to NSWCCD and setting up the equipment onsite.
• The Labmaster Universal 175 must meet the specifications outlined in the document, including a resolution of millionths of an inch (0.000001 inches) for dimensional measurements and radial clearance measurements.
• The contractor shall provide a calibrated instrument with traceability to a national standard, in turn having traceability to ISO.
• The contractor shall provide accredited ISO 17025/A2LA calibration certificate.
• The contractor shall accomplish shipping, setup, and training as specified in the document.
