Southwest Storage and Repump Facility

The County of Volusia is seeking a single, responsive, and responsible bidder for the construction of a new two-million-gallon potable water storage tank, a high-service pump station, and a combined electrical/IT/chemical storage building. The project includes all associated civil site development, concrete foundations, mechanical systems, electrical and instrumentation installations, and integration of all components. The completed project will enhance system capacity, improve operational reliability, and support long-term potable water service needs for the County's Southwest Service Area. • The project consists of constructing a new two-million-gallon potable water storage tank, a high-service pump station, and a combined electrical/IT/chemical storage building. • The project includes all associated civil site development, concrete foundations, mechanical systems, electrical and instrumentation installations, and integration of all components. • The completed project will enhance system capacity, improve operational reliability, and support long-term potable water service needs for the County's Southwest Service Area. • The estimated construction cost is $15,000,000.00. • The project duration is 530 days. • The County encourages joint ventures between majority-owned firms and qualified disadvantaged, minority, and/or women-owned firms. • The County has a local preference policy to encourage participation of local businesses in the provision of goods and services.
