Description
The City of Metter is seeking bids for the construction of the 2025 Metter CDBG project. The project includes drainage improvements, sewer improvements, and miscellaneous construction work. The contractor must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a "Utility Contractor" and must also employ a "Utility Manager" certification holder. The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant Program and the City of Metter.
• The project includes 1,940 LF of 48" ADS-HP storm piping and storm structures.
• The project includes replacing sewer mains with 1,140 LF of 10" HDPE using pipe bursting.
• The project includes miscellaneous improvements such as removing and replacing concrete driveway, sidewalk, curb, and gutter.
• The time allotted for completion of work is 120 calendar days.
• The contractor must comply with 41 CFR 60-4 regarding affirmative action.
• The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA).
