The U.S. Embassy in Honduras is seeking qualified Architect/Engineer (A/E) firms to provide professional services for a feasibility study related to the design and construction of a dedicated underground medium-voltage (MV) power feeder for the U.S. Embassy New Embassy Compound (NEC). The selected firm will evaluate power supply alternatives, assess the technical and logistical viability of the proposed underground feeder system, and identify qualified local partners and contractors. The firm will also analyze potential overhead feeder alternatives and provide a comprehensive report. • The feasibility study will include an evaluation of power supply alternatives and the technical, regulatory, operational, and logistical viability of the proposed underground feeder system. • The study will also assess ENEE's institutional capacity to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of underground MV electrical infrastructure. • The selected firm will identify and assess qualified local partners and contractors capable of performing the required civil works. • The firm will analyze potential overhead feeder alternatives, including associated advantages, limitations, costs, and risks. • The study will provide a comprehensive report, including a list of activities, technical assessment capabilities, and cost estimation for infrastructure projects.
