Purchase of Washer and Dryer for Iredell County Detention Center

Iredell County is seeking to procure a new commercial-grade washer and dryer for the Iredell County Detention Center. The equipment will be used to handle the laundry needs of the facility, which includes washing and drying inmate uniforms, bedding, and other linens. The selected vendor will be responsible for the delivery, installation, and initial setup of the washer and dryer units. • The washer must be a commercial-grade front-loading washer with a minimum capacity of 55 pounds per load, stainless steel drum and exterior, and programmable microprocessor controls. • The dryer must be a commercial-grade front-loading dryer with a minimum capacity of 75 pounds per load, heavy-duty construction, and programmable microprocessor controls. • The vendor must provide all necessary documentation, including user manuals, warranty information, and maintenance guides. • The vendor must provide a dedicated customer support line for troubleshooting and technical assistance.
