Public Works Center Outdoor LED Illuminated Monument Sign

The City of Champaign is seeking a contractor to furnish and install a new exterior monument-style identification sign for the Public Works Center. The sign should be approximately 4 feet high by 12 feet wide, single-sided, internally LED illuminated, with a routed aluminum cabinet face and push-thru acrylic graphics. The completed sign should be suitable for long-term outdoor use, nighttime visibility, public-facing municipal presentation, and continuous exposure to Midwest weather conditions. The contractor should provide a detailed technical response to each requirement listed in the specifications, including general information about the items or services proposed, detailed costs and charges, and any other required documents. • The sign should include a minimum 12-inch high foundation/skirting base and be installed on steel supports set in concrete footings. • The sign should generally match the appearance of the attached concept images. • The contractor should provide a statement of qualifications, including a narrative or other statement by the firm of its qualifications for the proposed project. • The contractor should provide a list of two references that may be contacted. • The contractor should comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Federal Davis-Bacon Act, if applicable.
