Description
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking a contractor to provide mobile laboratory casework for the renovation of the Pathology and Laboratory located at the VAMC Togus campus in Augusta, ME. The casework must meet or exceed VHA specifications for lab safety, promote environmental stewardship, and integrate with the laboratory design. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, product, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirement. The basis of design is Mott Manufacturing Optima 2100 Bench Systems, and the contractor must provide a bill of materials, product specifications, and other documentation as part of their quote.
Some key requirements of the project include:
• Providing laboratory mobile casework and professional installation
• Meeting VHA specifications for lab safety and promoting environmental stewardship
• Integrating with the laboratory design
• Providing all labor, materials, product, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirement
• Submitting a bill of materials, product specifications, and other documentation as part of the quote
• Attending a kickoff meeting and other meetings as required
• Providing sample materials and taking field measurements
• Installing the casework and providing a remediation plan for any punch-list items
