Description
The City of Atlanta is seeking qualified Service Providers to handle city-wide demolition and asbestos abatement services. The selected vendors will provide turnkey demolition and asbestos abatement services, demonstrating the ability to manage high-volume, safety-critical work while maintaining required environmental controls, documentation, and coordination with City departments. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing all planning, administrative, permitting, salvaging, execution, removal, and grading/erosion requirements necessary to safely demolish specified structures and conduct asbestos abatement and environmental remediation services
• Possessing written certification from the State of Georgia as a certified/licensed asbestos abatement contractor
• Having a Level 1A certification from the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission
• Providing own equipment and furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, machinery, and tools
• Ensuring proper disposal of all removed items and complying with EPA regulations, hauling, and disposal regulations
