Design for Expansion and Improvements of LARC, Inc. Main Campus

The City of Fort Myers is seeking a qualified design professional firm to provide architectural and engineering services for the expansion and improvements to the Main Campus facilities of LARC, Inc. The scope of work includes the expansion of the Adult Day Training Program, design and construction of a new residential R-4 group home, addition of a generator for Building B, and beautification and accessibility improvement projects. The selected firm will be responsible for knowledge and compliance with all related local, state, and federal codes and regulations. • The project requires a comprehensive design and construction plan that meets the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. • The selected firm must have experience in designing and constructing facilities that meet the requirements of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). • The firm must also have experience in working with government agencies and non-profit organizations. • The project has a proposed timeline of 18 months, with specific milestones and deadlines for completion. • The City of Fort Myers is committed to ensuring that the project is completed in a timely and efficient manner, while also meeting the needs of LARC, Inc. and the individuals it serves.
