The Water Meter and Endpoint Replacement Project.

The City of Folsom is seeking proposals for the Water Meter and Endpoint Replacement Project, which involves replacing approximately 2,950 5/8” x ¾” Sensus water meters with City-supplied one-inch Badger water meters. The work includes replacement of existing Sensus water meters, returning all replaced Sensus water meters to the City, replacement of Zenner endpoints, returning all replaced Zenner endpoints to the City, customer notification, data collection for the existing and new meters, including meter reads, serial numbers, and other information required by the bid documents. The project requires a Class A – General Engineering Contractor or C36 – Plumbing Contractor license. • Replacement of water meters and endpoints • Customer notification and data collection • Compliance with prevailing wage rates and labor laws • Completion of work within 120 working days • Liquidated damages of $500 per day for failure to complete work on time
