Description
The City of Bismarck Public Works Department is seeking a professional engineering firm to provide ongoing engineering services at the landfill. The selected firm will provide analysis, design, and construction support services for solid waste collection and disposal projects. The contract will be for a period of five years, with the possibility of renewal for an additional three years. The firm will be required to provide services on an as-needed, as-requested basis at a negotiated yearly rate schedule. The primary consideration items for selection will include the firm's technical capabilities, experience and performance records, understanding of project and proposed work approach, knowledge of regulations and local conditions, project personnel assignments and qualifications, and ability to respond in a timely manner.
• Provide analysis, design, and construction support services for solid waste collection and disposal projects.
• Periodic working sessions with City staff to review potential projects and evaluate potential solutions.
• On an as-needed, as-requested basis, provide the necessary services for designing selected projects.
• Provide construction support services including contract administration, survey support, construction observation, project close out, as-built drawing preparation, and warranty support.
