Description
The Washington Parish Government is seeking qualified contractors to supply, install, and commission permanent diesel generators and automatic transfer switches at six critical locations (schools and a municipal sewer‑treatment plant) throughout Washington Parish. The work is design‑build, requiring complete engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and site restoration, with special flood‑elevation requirements for the sewer‑treatment plant site. The contract will be awarded to the bidder offering the best overall design‑build solution, evaluated on technical approach, timeline, and price.
• Scope includes six generator/ATS installations (200 kW‑60 kW generators, 800 A‑230 A ATS).
• Must provide all labor, materials, design, permits, testing (load‑bank, 5‑hour continuous run), and a 5 % bid bond.
• Project period is 24 months; flood‑zone compliance required for the plant site.
