Description
The Garrett County Board of Education seeks a qualified contractor to perform a comprehensive interior and exterior door replacement program at Northern Garrett High School. The contract is a lump‑sum award covering removal of existing doors, supply and installation of new doors, frames, hardware, finishing, and associated electronic access control components. Evaluation will heavily weight cost (60 %) alongside qualifications, quality, and responsiveness. Payment is made in two installments: upon receipt of materials/equipment on site and at substantial completion. The project must start July 1 2026 and reach substantial completion by August 28 2026.
• Remove and replace all specified interior and exterior doors, including frames.
• Provide and install new hardware (locks, hinges, handles) and mullions.
• Perform finishing (paint or stain) to match existing school colors.
• Install or upgrade electronic access control hardware as required.
• Submit a flat lump‑sum bid; no separate line‑item pricing.
