“Street Sign Materials & Traffic Safety Equipment”

The City of Danbury is seeking bids for street sign materials and traffic safety equipment. The contract term shall be for one year from date of award with the option to extend the term one year at a time for a maximum of two additional years. Bidders must provide prices for various sign materials, including sign faces, complete signs, and reflective tape, as well as traffic safety equipment such as traffic cones, barricades, and safety lights. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any portion thereof, to waive technicalities, and to award the bid and/or contracts to one or more bidders submitting essentially identical proposals. • The contract includes various items such as sign faces, complete signs, reflective tape, traffic cones, barricades, and safety lights. • Bidders must provide prices for each item and ensure that their bids are submitted in the required format. • The City of Danbury is an equal opportunity and affirmative action purchaser, and bids from all vendors, including those from enterprises owned by minorities and women, are encouraged. • The successful bidder shall guarantee that the material to be delivered conforms in every respect with accepted standards of workmanship, material, and performance. • The successful bidder shall also comply with all federal and state laws and regulations, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection.
