Storage Tank Inspection Services- Revised Bid by Lot

The City of Chesapeake is soliciting bids from qualified bidders to establish a contract for inspection and evaluation of the condition of all elevated and ground storage tanks for potable and non-potable water owned by the City. The successful bidder will provide all labor, personnel, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary to inspect, on an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity basis, any of the City's elevated storage tanks, ground storage tanks, water treatment process tanks, and potable and non-potable water and production basins. The contract will be for one year with four optional one-year renewals. The bidder must submit a written statement describing their experience, financial stability, and background of technical staff members. The City reserves the right to award a contract to multiple bidders. Some key services include: • Inspection and evaluation of storage tanks • Preparation of certified engineering reports • Removal and disposal of used media • Installation of new media • Performance of interior "wet" tank inspections and evaluations • Disinfection of tanks in accordance with AWWA standards
