Description
The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking competitive sealed bids to supply industrial rock salt (bulk per‑ton and 50‑lb moisture‑proof bags) for road maintenance across the state. The contract will run from commission approval through November 30 2027, with the possibility of a single 24‑month extension, not to exceed a total of 36 months. Bids must be submitted electronically via the MAGIC system or as sealed paper bids by 10:30 AM CST on September 9 2026. All bidders must be registered in the MAGIC portal and provide the required attachments (pricing, certifications, etc.). The award will be made to any bidder meeting specifications, with the lowest‑priced qualified bidder receiving the first delivery opportunity; subsequent bidders will be considered if the lowest cannot deliver within 10 working days.
