Concrete and Steel Street Light Poles

The City of Denton is seeking a vendor to supply steel, concrete, and aggregate street light poles for use by Denton Municipal Electric and the City of Denton. The scope of work includes the supply of various types of street light poles, including steel, concrete, and aggregate/composite poles, as well as associated components such as mounting arms, breakaway base systems, and handholes. The vendor shall provide pricing for each of the specified pole configurations and materials. The city is looking for a vendor with experience in supplying municipal street light poles and a proven track record of compliance with specifications. The evaluation criteria include lead times and delivery, cost, and experience and qualifications. • The contract will be for the supply of materials only, with no installation services included. • The vendor shall provide shop drawings, product data sheets, and compliance documentation. • The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and award based on best value, not solely lowest cost. • The vendor shall provide a company profile, product specifications, and references as part of the proposal. • The city is looking for a vendor that can provide innovative methods to deal with municipal challenges and cost-effective solutions.
