Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to stabilize and improve Building 120 at the Dayton VA Medical Center. The project will include demolition, architectural feature restoration, code compliant electrical distribution, plumbing, lighting improvements, physical security devices, fire alarm and detection devices, modern communication systems, and reinforcement/replacement of flooring systems on all floors and installation of a passenger elevator. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to complete the project. The project is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and the estimated project magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
Key points to consider:
• The project will be completed within 575 calendar days from the contractor's receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP)
• The contractor will be required to provide Bid, Payment, and Performance bonds
• A one-time-only site visit will be scheduled for this project

• The solicitation documents will be posted at www.sam.gov on or about May 20, 2026, with bids due approximately 45 days later
