Description
The State of California’s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control is seeking a qualified vendor to provide pre‑employment polygraph examination services for peace‑officer candidates across 48 Northern California counties. The contractor must conduct examinations, produce written reports within three working days, retain records for four years, and be capable of performing at least four exams per day while meeting strict certification requirements.
• Conduct polygraph exams using ABC‑approved equipment and deliver written reports within 3 business days per candidate.
• Provide monthly invoicing and retain all examination records for four years, making them available to ABC upon request.
• Ensure all examiners are certified members of NPA, APA, CAPE, or AAPP and qualified as expert witnesses; maintain the ability to travel throughout the listed counties.
• Perform the work under a 24‑month contract (with an optional 12‑month extension) for a maximum value of $40,000, with penalties for late performance and cancellation fees for “no‑show” candidates.
