Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from potential contractors to provide EBSCO Consolidated CINAHL, Medline, and PBSC resources. The goal is to provide access to standard knowledge-based medicine, nursing, and allied health care information resources nationwide. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) single award with a base period of performance of 12 months and four 12-month option periods.
Some key requirements include:
• Providing access to the three online, web-based products to all sites on the VHA network
• Authentication through IP address validation or Single Sign On
• Unrestricted number of simultaneous users
• Technical capability to include LibLynx authentication for remote users
• Knowledge-based information covering journal literature in medicine, nursing, and psychology
• Information quality, accuracy, and relevance
• Usability and navigation
• Currency and updates
• Access, content, and support
