Description
Sampson County is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide professional design and engineering services for the phased development of the Joe Britt Warren Business and Industrial Park in Newton Grove, North Carolina. The selected firm will be responsible for reviewing the illustrative site Master Plan, Preliminary Engineering Reports, and Traffic Impact Analysis, and developing a phased implementation plan for the site. The firm will also provide design and engineering services, including civil design and engineering for onsite and offsite infrastructure, preparation of final engineering and construction documents, and cost estimating.
• The project involves the development of a 210-acre site into a premier business and industrial park.
• The firm will be required to demonstrate its ability to provide timely turnkey design, permitting, bidding, and other services as required for the project.
• The selection process will be based on a qualifications-based evaluation of competence and expertise.
• The contract will be executed with the selected firm, and the projected execution date is mid-April 2026.
