Description
The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking bids for a two-year contract to maintain the street lighting system on major roadways in Jefferson Parish. The contract will include the repair and maintenance of existing streetlights, as well as the installation of new lighting systems. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work. The contract will be for a period of 24 months, beginning on September 26, 2026, and ending on September 25, 2028.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Repair and maintenance of approximately 3,943 streetlights, including HPS, LED, and solar-powered lights
• Replacement of defective or damaged equipment, including poles, fixtures, and underground conduit
• Performance of regular maintenance tasks, such as re-lamping and cleaning of fixtures
• Response to spot outages and emergencies
• Coordination with the Street Lighting Division and other parish departments as needed
