Description
The State of Nevada, Department of Corrections, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Satellite Television Installation and Services for inmates incarcerated in all NDOC facilities. The awarded vendor shall provide all service, equipment, and turnkey installation for inmates to view television on their in-cell television, as well as televisions located in dayrooms and other areas. The contract term is expected to be for four years, with an option to renew for an additional two years.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing a turnkey operation to all NDOC facilities either directly or through subcontractors
• Installing new head-end equipment by June 30, 2022, or within a mutually agreed-upon date
• Providing a timeline for head-end equipment and other equipment installation
• Maintaining and replacing all equipment and materials for the length of the contract
• Providing customer service and training to NDOC staff members
• Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements for protecting the safety of employees, building occupants, and the environment
