MCC Key Cabinet Sole Source

Morgan Community College (MCC) intends to sole source the purchase of a key management system from Multicard. The scope of the project involves the procurement of five ProxSafe FLEXX II housing units, integration software, installation, and electrical upgrades. The key cabinet systems have been thoroughly vetted by MCC alongside Multicard, and the proposed solution best integrates with the newly installed security system. The project is currently at 90% completion, and MCC has remaining funding to contribute to additional safety and security needs. • The project involves the upgrade and installation of an Avigilon security system. • The key cabinet systems must be integrated into the project in progress. • Vendors who want to dispute the sole source designation must be able to procure the items, be on site for electrical work, installation, and integration within two weeks. • The proposed solution must best integrate with the newly installed security system and best fit the College’s needs for now and the future.
