RFP VMWare ESX Support Services

Washtenaw Community College is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive support services for its on‑premises VMware ESX 8.0 environment. The contract will cover six Dell PowerEdge servers (R730 and R650) and a single vCenter Server, requiring ongoing incident response, patch management, performance monitoring, and advisory services throughout a 12‑month term with possible annual extensions. Vendors must meet minimum security standards, sign NDAs to receive detailed environment data, and submit a complete pricing proposal with all required attachments. • Provide 24 × 7 or business‑hours technical support for ESXi hosts and vCenter, including troubleshooting, updates, and configuration guidance. • Deliver performance monitoring, capacity planning, security hardening recommendations, and optional proactive health checks. • Complete the “Attachment A – Minimum Security Standards” questionnaire and adhere to the college’s FOIA and tax‑exempt requirements. • Submit a single PDF containing the official quote, signed signature page, and completed security attachment by the March 26, 2026 deadline. • Contract starts 1 April 2026 for one year, with up to four one‑year extension options.
