Description
The California Department of Food and Agriculture is seeking a qualified General Engineering Contractor to remove an existing vehicle‑inspection booth and install a new prefabricated steel inspection booth at the Long Valley Border Protection Station in Lassen County. The scope includes demolition, delivery, anchoring to a concrete pad, concrete‑pad work, electrical and HVAC connections, insulation, interior finishes, and full compliance with CAL‑OSHA, state IIPP, and prevailing‑wage requirements. Bidders must attend a mandatory site walk‑through, submit a single‑rate all‑inclusive cost proposal, and provide required bonds and insurance.
• Complete demolition of existing booth and site preparation (concrete pad, anchor bolts, bollards).
• Supply and install a 5’8” × 10’ prefabricated steel booth with insulation, doors, windows, LED lighting, HVAC, and electrical load center.
• Provide all labor, equipment, permits, insurance, and security at no separate line‑item charge; must meet DVBE and small‑business preferences.
