The City of San Antonio Fire Department seeks a consultant to produce a comprehensive 15‑year staffing, fleet, equipment, and technology integration roadmap that aligns with NFPA, ISO, and CPSA standards. The effort includes a detailed staffing projection, fleet and equipment readiness assessment, and a technology‑integration plan to support operational effectiveness and compliance. The contractor will deliver a forward‑looking strategic plan that guides SAFD through the next decade and a half.
• Develop a 15‑year, standards‑aligned staffing projection for SAFD.
• Evaluate current fleet/equipment, forecast future needs, and recommend acquisition/maintenance strategies.
• Design a technology‑integration roadmap covering records management, data integration, and related systems.
• Ensure all recommendations meet NFPA, ISO, CPSA, and industry best‑practice standards.
• Provide a final deliverable package (reports, charts, implementation timelines) for city leadership and fire‑department officials.
