Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command is seeking information from potential contractors to provide recycling collection and disposal services for the United States Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz (USAG-RP) Installations in Germany. The services include collection, transportation, segregation, storage, and disposal of recyclable waste, as well as supply, maintenance, and service of recycling containers, bins, and compactors. The contractor will be required to provide a tailored capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort, including company information, experience, and capabilities. The contract type is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price (FFP).
Some key points about the job and scope of work include:
* Approximately 300 pick-ups/collection of various types of recyclables per month across various locations
* Lease, service, and maintenance of approximately 150 collection bins, containers, and compactors of various types and 12 pedestal steps during the period of performance
* Transportation and disposal of approximately 80 metric tons of various recyclables per month
* The contractor must be knowledgeable of and comply with local labor and other laws when performing these services in Germany.
