Description
The State of Louisiana, Office of State Procurement, is soliciting bids for laundry and linen services for the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs. The contract will be for an initial 1-year period, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The services will include pickup and delivery of linen three days a week, and the vendor will be required to supply transport carts and bags. The vendor must also provide MSDS on chemicals used upon request.
• The contract will require the vendor to provide a minimum of five complete clean sets of linen for each of the 156 beds in the facility.
• The vendor must deliver the linen to the facility three days a week.
• The vendor must provide a price for the services that includes delivery and pickup.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The contract may be renewed for two additional 12-month periods at the same prices, terms, and conditions.
