IFB # 446 South Rivanna Water Treatment Plant Flocculator Replacement

The Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority is seeking qualified contractors to replace the flocculation system at the South Rivanna Water Treatment Plant. The scope includes removal and replacement of three flocculators, associated concrete supports, FRP baffle walls, drive motors, sprockets, chains, variable frequency drives, and integration of additional I/O into the existing SCADA system. This project is essential for maintaining water treatment capacity and improving operational efficiency. • Replace three flocculators and all related mechanical and structural components. • Install new drive motors, VFDs, and SCADA I/O enhancements. • Perform concrete and FRP work for supports and baffle walls. • Ensure full integration with the plant’s control system.
