The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information on vendors that can provide atomic clocks for ensemble time scales. The clocks should have short-term stability of <= 1e-11 Allan Deviation (ADEV) at 1 s averaging interval and long-term stability of <= 2.7e-14 ADEV for averaging intervals longer than 100,000 s. The clocks should also have at least one output signal at 10 MHz nominal frequency, amplitude >= 1 Vrms, and accept an input pulse-per-second (PPS) signal for coarse synchronization. The clocks should be compatible with EIA-compliant equipment racks and have an operational temperature range of 15°C – 45°C.
• The clocks should have a demonstrated mean time between failures (MTBF) > 10 years.
• The clocks should have a power consumption of < 100 W.
• The clocks should have a digital system control and monitor interface, as serial (RS232), ethernet, or similar standard interface.
• The clocks should have a battery backup providing at least 30 minutes of operation.
• The clocks should be delivered to NIST-Boulder campus and NIST-Gaithersburg campus.
