Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide local telecommunications services (LTS) to Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland and Fort Sam Houston. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, facilities, materials, and services needed to perform and provide local access to the designated circuit demarcation points. The services will include voice over internet protocol (VoIP) traffic, video traffic, and other real-time traffic. The contractor will also be required to provide configuration diagrams to show access to 911/E911 services and submit a service routing diagram.
• The contractor must provide local telecommunications services 24/7/365 with 99.9% availability.
• The contractor must notify the government point of contact (POC) of any scheduled outage that will affect any telecommunication service.
• The contractor must respond and restore service outages in accordance with the Telecommunications Services Priority (TSP) and Restoration Priority List (RPL).
• The contractor must provide a detailed explanation for any outage and provide updates on the status of restoration actions.
• The contractor must ensure that all circuits, equipment, and services provided by the incumbent contractor are disconnected/discontinued upon successful cutover.
