DISTRICT PRIMARY DATA CENTER UPS REPLACEMENT

The Rialto Unified School District is seeking a qualified, fully licensed contractor to replace its aging 40 kVA APC Symmetra UPS in the district’s primary data center with a new Schneider Electric/APC Galaxy VS lithium‑ion UPS system (or equal). The contract is turn‑key, covering supply of the UPS, two battery cabinets, a maintenance‑bypass cabinet, 22 new rack‑mounted PDUs, full installation, commissioning, testing, documentation, training, and a six‑month performance period with optional one‑year extension. The award will be based on a best‑value evaluation (price plus technical and experience criteria) and requires a 10 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds, prevailing‑wage compliance, and specific CSLB C‑10 and/or C‑7 licenses. • Scope includes delivery, anchoring, electrical wiring, integration with existing generator/ATS, and disposal of legacy equipment. • Mandatory pre‑proposal site visit on July 7, 2026; questions due July 10, 2026; final proposal due July 15, 2026. • Contractor must be a certified Schneider Electric/APC partner, hold California C‑10 (Electrical) and/or C‑7 (Low‑Voltage) licenses, and provide extensive warranty and maintenance support.
